The Animal Health Trust is proud to offer clients and visitors a place to relax, to refresh, and to learn about what we do.
Come and sit in our sunny courtyard. Enjoy a cup of tea and a slice of cake from our cafe, and indulge in a little retail therapy at our gift shop.
About the Visitor's Centre
The John MacDougal Visitor's Centre is situated in the Grade II listed former stable block of Lanwades Hall. The Visitors Centre is named after John MacDougall, the former Chairman of the Kennel Club. The Kennel Club funded the conversion to a Visitor's Centre during the 1990s.
The VC in eclosed within it's own private courtyard and provides the perfect setting to learn more about the Animal Health Trust while indulging in a little retail therapy or relaxing over a cup of tea and a slice of gooey cake.
There are plenty of tables and chairs in the courtyard as well as a small nursery with seasonal plants for sale. Inside, there is also pet-friendly seating as dogs are not allowed within the cafe itself. Orders may be placed and staff will bring your food out to you in the pet seating area. Our gift shop sells dog toys and accessories as well as a range of AHT clothing, giftware (including Sophie Allport and Norfolk Soaps), gardenware, and books.
The Lecture Theatre is available for hire for events.
